I think the creators of Instagram are brilliant! The idea of being able to instantly take a picture, edit it and share it with the world within minutes, is as real as it gets! I loved being able to share our vacation with my family and friends as it unfolded and capture all the fun we were having, in THAT moment. Here’s some of the pictures I took with my Iphone, edited with Pictapgo and shared on Instagram. For those of you looking for an awesome app to edit your pictures, I highly recommend Pictapgo, the creator of TRA! Best editing app out there! To follow our life as it unfolds, click here or look me up at michellehebertphotog. Happy picture taking!

I’m addicting to collaging right now, this looks great!

Our trip last year to Anna Marie Island was a huge game changer for our family. Chad and I walked returned with more than just pictures, souvenirs and luggage, but returned with an entirely new perspective on the things that were important to us as a family. That trip was so incredibly special, we knew that we wanted to return to Florida the following year and relive and revive that experience. This time, we chose to visit a different part of Florida and rented a home on Marco Island. Although the island had a completely different vibe than Anna Marie Island, it still was a refreshing trip that the whole family enjoyed. We spent each day at the beach, spent the evenings in the pool, took an air boat tour and alligator tour, and even got to try new foods at the Seafood Festival. Each night after the kids went to sleep, Chad and I were both EXhausted….like the kind where you crawl in to bed, wine in one hand, ice cream in another, staring at the TV unable to process what exactly you are watching BUT EXhausted in the way where you KNEW it was a great day, eager to do it all over again. It’s the exhausted where your hearts are filled, your excited to wake up the next morning, your dreams that night will be a replay of the day and where there’s no other place you’d rather be…period.
There’s something special about the ocean that is so therapeutic and refreshing. Every time I am in the presence of it, I walk away changed. Our time in Marco Island was not only a great holiday for the whole family, but great refresher to Chad and I as parents and spouses. I can’t thank my husband Chad enough for always giving us nothing but the best and not taking care of just our physical needs but also our heart and soul needs. Cheers to an amazing week in Marco Island! Here’s a glimpse into our FIRST day!

After naps, we returned to the beach but this time we tried Tigertail Beach.

Luke wasn’t exactly a huge fan of the water like his older brothers.
